Crappie

One of the most popular and sought after fresh water fish in the United States.  Video taping Crappies is always interesting because if they are anywhere in the general area they will find our structure and hold tight.  Although Crappies are known for suspending off the bottom, we have found time after time that if we keep the weed structure near the bottom, the Crappies will also stay down there.  Unlike many species which come and go and revisit the structure, Crappies will often stay in one small area surrounding the structure for extended periods of time.  We have recorded a Crappie that camped in an SOS Weed Bed for two and half hours.  Watch for additional Crappie video clips to be added very soon.
